Category Finance Manager at PepsiCo

Main Purpose

• Finance Business Partner to SSA Marketing organisation focused on optimizing A&M spend ROI, portfolio mix optimization and product innovation growth & margin
• Role covers A&M and innovation across 3 BU’s / 10 MU’s across SSA Cluster

Accountabilities

• Lead A&M financial planning and reporting process and deliverables x-SSA (black swan taxonomy, spend optimisation etc)
• Partner with CMO to performance manage A&M and total marketing spend ROI opimisation (including direct and indirect “STB” spend)
• Lead NPD financial reporting processes across SSA cluster to optimise commercialsiation decision making
• Manage and optimise Brand p&l reporting processes and submissions across SSA Cluster (BPL etc) to opitimise portfolio and mix decision making
• Manage and develop team of Category Innovation and A&M analysts (matrix reports) across MU’s in SSA Cluster
• Develop Category finance capability throughout marketing and finance teams across SSA Cluster
• Manage and coordinate Sector financial planning and reporting submissions accurately and timely
• Lead financial analysis and trade-offs providing decision support and insights for IBP Portfolio Analysis Cycle
• Lead integration and alignment of A&M + innovation financial planning and reporting processes across SSA

Qualifications

Key skills/ Requirements

• Deep finance expertise (<5 years experience)
• Excellent communication skills; verbal, written, PowerPoint
• Ability to synthesize complex data sets into meaningful and actionable insights
• Self starter, proactive and able to set and drive the agenda
• SAP WBS experience advantageous, excellent excel skills
• Lead through influence, set and drive the agenda, influence and drive decision making
