In this role you will be responsible to lead and develop the Category and Channel agenda within the market to deliver long term Category growth and profitably increased market share.

A Category Sales Development Manager

• Delivering Category Growth: Develop and implement Category growth vision and facilitate organisation alignment to ensure category sustainability and growth based on consumer, shopper and customer requirements.          
• Lead effective and efficient Integrated Commercial Plans: Lead the organisation through simple and integrated process to produce more effective and efficient commercial plans that deliver against MBS and Category growth drivers based on consumer, shopper and customer needs.  Define priority channels for the market/category, create tailored Category Channel Plans and allocate resources to win.
• Generate category and shopper insight: Define the in-store vision of success for the category in each channel. Enable its implementation and continuously review the effectiveness of our in-store actions. Lead, develop and accelerate our Shopper focus, turning Shopper Insight into actionable in-store solutions through engaging communication strategies across the path to Purchase.
• Trade Spend Management: Coordinate the development of an aligned performance related TTS strategy to support priority initiatives. Establish clear promotional guidelines by category and channel, and continuously evaluate the Return on investment of our trade spend."

What will make you successful

• Commercial Degree
• 7 – 10 years Sales experience and Trade Marketing/Shopper Marketing experience
• Demonstrable record of success in delivering key commercial KPI's
• Understands key business functions i.e., Commercial, Finance, Technical, Supply Chain.
• Strong leadership and teamworking skills
• Successful track record of developing people
• Customer Knowledge (Retail and Distributor)
