CFO - Tshwane at CA Financial Appointments

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for providing strategic financial support to the CEO and Executive Committee, driving the financial and risk management operations on all strategic matters including the development of a financial and operational strategy, ongoing development, and monitoring of control systems and maintenance of good corporate governance.
• Provide strategic leadership, support and advice to the organization regarding financial management functions according to the PFMA and other relevant regulations
• Oversee the implementation of financial management strategies and procedures Manage the production of financial statements and annual reporting
• Oversee the review of accounting and supply chain processes
• Co-ordinate and manage internal and external auditing processes
• Oversee the financial planning and budgeting processes
• Ensure effective governance and compliance within the unit
• Provide Leadership and manage the unit’s resources and performance

Requirements:

• Chartered Accountant with 8 to 10 years relevant working experience of which 3 years must be Senior Management Level.
• Experience in financial management, strategic planning, governance process and reporting; In-depth and practical knowledge of GAAP, PFMA and king governance code, Generally Recognized Accounting Standards (GRAP)
• Sound knowledge and understanding of public sector financial regulations and policy frameworks, and supply chain management processes.
