Key Responsibility Areas

• Provides management support and participates in functional planning processes associated with electrical engineering HV project priorities.
• Manages principles, applications and techniques associated with the development and presentation of technical designs.
• Defines the structure information management system records and disseminates information on the professional and technical aspects of interventions.
• Provides advice/information and guidance on the principles, procedures and applications associated with complex forms of interventions and procedures.
• Manages procedures associated with the preparation collation of contract documentation and evaluating tender applications for complex and diverse forms of electrical engineering HV transmission.
• Defines standards and controls the outcomes in respect of the High Voltage transmission system reinforcement projects in the region.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (NQF Level 8) in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered as a Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA).
• Valid motor vehicle driving license.
• 5 years relevant post registration experience in the Electricity Distribution or Transmission industry
