Core Responsibilities:
Manage key performance areas and result indicators associated with the rehabilitation and maintenance of road infrastructure, storm-water drainage and the adequacy of traffic signage and road markings.
Identify technical / non-technical skills gap within your area of accountability and complete developmental plans for existing personnel and monitor the adequacy of current training interventions.
Implement Human Resources policies and procedures to control and regulate workplace conflict and institute corrective measures.
Prepare capital and operating estimates and control expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
Manage procurement processes and ensure that it comply with the Supply Chain Management processes.
Manage and control plant, equipment as well as materials.
Prepare/ approve drawings, designs and costs estimate of work to be done and monitor the implementation thereafter.
Direct and control professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with the functions.
