Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Technologist or Professional Engineering Technician
Minimum 5-years post professional registration experience with Water and/or Wastewater Services Valid Code EB drivers’ licence
Computer literacy
Minimum competency Unit Standards as provided for in the MFMA or if not in possession of the Unit Standards be willing to obtain within 18 months of appointment.
Other Requirements:
Supervisory skills
In depth knowledge of municipal water and wastewater
Proven track record of Tender document compilation, procurement processes, contract administration and project supervision
Sound knowledge and understanding of relevant policies and legislation as well as engineering codes
Language proficiency in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape (English, Xhosa and Afrikaans) Excellent Project Management Skills
