Civil Draughtsman at Network Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Create detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts for civil engineering projects, including buildings, roads, bridges, and infrastructure.
• Interpret and review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, and other data to prepare accurate drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and standards in all drawings.
• Revise drawings as necessary, based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Maintain organized records of all drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and material take-offs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology and software.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Civil Draughtsman, preferably in a construction or engineering firm.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and standards.
