Job Purpose    

• The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitaby qualified and competent individual to render technical services and support in sustainable resource use and management, operations and maintenance.

Minimum Requirements    

• An appropriate 3-year National Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification; Compulsory registration with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) as an Engineering Technician; Three years post qualification technical (Engineering) experience; A valid driving license.

• Render technical services: Assist engineers, technologists and associates in field, workshop and technical office activities; Perform administrative and related functions; Compile and submit reports as required; Research and development.
