    • The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to promote sustainable development in the agricultural sector through the application of the appropriate extension principles and methods. 

    Minimum Requirements

    Senior Agricultural Advisor: Garden Route (George), Ref No. AGR 13/2026

    Job Purpose    
    The Department of Agriculture, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual to provide expert extension and advisory services to farmers in the district. Facilitating, developing, implementing, and managing projects. Facilitating and implementing capacity development of farmers and agricultural advisors.     The Department of Agriculture, WesternCape Government, has an exciting employment opportunity for a suitably qualified and competent individual on a Senior Management Services level to manage the delivery of higher education and training programmes.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • A under graduate degree in higher education or agricultural management or agricultural science as recognised by SAQA (NQF 7);
    • 5 years middle and/ or senior management experience in agricultural management or higher education;
