Claims Manager at Discovery Limited

Key Purpose

• Oversee and manage the claims team in order to administer and validate claims and assist with queries and payments for personal lines insurance.

Areas of responsibility may include but not limited to

• Ensure departmental targets are met by driving strategy and key business initiatives
• Implement new systems and enhancements and provide training on these to staff
• Set targets and deadlines to achieve operational efficiency, quality and optimal call center service levels
• Resolve escalated queries and complaints
• Monitor and submit monthly claims reports and performance statistics
• Daily operations of claims environment
• Manage claims cost and loss ratio

Education And Experience

• 3 Years’ Short term insurance call centre management experience (Essential)
