Cleaner (Sessional) at Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness

Experience:

• Appropriate experience as a Cleaner in a health environment.

Minimum Educational Qualification:

• Basic literacy and numeracy.

Duties

• Responsible for cleaning, including sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, refuse removal, cleaning of garbage bins daily, toilets, sluices and drains, cleaning of windows and walls in the clinic.
• Ensure that cleaning equipment is clean after usage and securely stored. Render assistance to the supervisor with general housekeeping duties such as control of cleaning and household equipment, care of linen, and serving of patients. Adhere to safety measures when handling waste. Attend in-service training appropriate to service delivery
