Cleaner at South African National Parks (SANParks)

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Cleaning experience of 1 to 2 years.
• Stock-taking experience.
• Knowledge of First Aid and Occupational Health and Safety
• Good hygiene practices.
• Punctual, neat, and responsible.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Comply with OHS regulations

Responsibilities

• Daily cleaning of offices, ablutions, reception areas, passages, and open areas
• Prepare boardrooms and meeting areas and set up refreshments.
• Report abnormalities and ensure they are rectified.
• Handle lost properties in terms of procedures.
• Emptying waste bins and transporting waste materials to designated collection areas.
• Control cleaning materials in possession.
• Maintain a high level of cleaning standards
• Adhere to emergencies and relieve schedules when requested by the supervisor.
• Replenish consumable items (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc).
• Assist with stock issuing and receiving, and do stocktaking.
• Assist with other ad hoc tasks as required by the supervisor
