    Clerk(Halls)

    Minimum requirements:

    • A Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) A Diploma in Public Administration or relevant qualification Computer literacy Minimum of 1-2 years' relevant experience.

    Key performance areas:

    • Handle enquiries, bookings and cancellations for community halls, including processing application forms and payments Act as the first point of contact for the public, provide information on hall availability, rental fees and policies.
    • Maintain accurate filing systems (physical and digital), recording data, processing invoices, and prepare reports on facility usage.
    • Coordinate with maintenance and cleaning staff to ensure halls are prepared for events.
    • Receive deposits, issue receipts, and keep records of revenue collected from hall rentals Ensure users adhere to council by-laws, safety, and health regulations.
