• As the Client Onboarding Specialistwithin this innovative and thriving business, you will leverage your expertise in institutional investments and regulatory frameworks, including Know Your Client (KYC), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and FICA, to facilitate the seamless onboarding of clients while maintaining the highest levels of regulatory compliance and data integrity.

Key qualifications and experience required for the Client Onboarding Specialist:

• Bachelor’s Degreein a relevant field (i.e., finance, economics, investments, or law)
• Legal or Compliance certificationis highly preferred
• 5+ years’ experiencewithin a financial services or investment firm
• Demonstrated experience in client servicing/reporting
• Expert knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Know Your Client (KYC), Client Due Diligence (CDD) and FICA
• Proven experience of working with Institutional clients

Key duties of the Client Onboarding Specialist:

• Respond promptly and effectively to client queries, ensuring timely resolution
• Advise back-office teams on updates to client investment mandates and oversee the accurate implementation of changes
• Compile and deliver monthly and quarterly reports for all investment clients
• Prepare fund factsheets and customised reports on investment products for clients
• Identify potential risks associated with client onboarding and data management and implement appropriate mitigation measures
• Support the client-facing team in the onboarding process for new clients and investors
• Maintain a strong understanding of CDD/AML procedures and ensure high-risk cases are appropriately escalated and signed off
