About the Role

• This role works autonomously within the healthcare team structure and is pivotal in the planning, managing, and delivering of surgical specialist nursing care.

• Provides clinical leadership for professional and clinical practice, education, and research and support in management activities including portfolio responsibilities.

• Utilise knowledge and critical judgement to manage/change the nursing model or other relevant model of care to better suit the staff skill-mix and/or patient acuity e.g. individual patient allocation to team nursing.
