Job Description

• Our client in the banking sector is looking for an experienced Cloud Architect to lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable and resilient cloud solutions that support enterprise-wide digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and drive the enterprise cloud strategy and architecture roadmap.
• Design secure, scalable and highly available cloud solutions.
• Lead cloud migration and application modernisation initiatives.
• Establish cloud governance, architecture standards and best practices.
• Drive cloud security, compliance and risk management.
• Promote automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), DevOps and cloud cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with business, engineering and security teams to deliver strategic cloud initiatives.
• Mentor technical teams and provide architectural leadership.

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
• 8–12 years' IT experience, including at least 5 years in a Cloud Architect role.
• Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise cloud solutions.
• Experience with cloud migration, hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments.
• Financial services or banking experience will be advantageous.
