The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Operations Team Lead who exudes both technical prowess and motivational leadership, to join our dynamic team. As the Cloud Operations Team Lead, you will play a critical role in overseeing the daily operations and performance of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
. Your responsibilities will include leading and managing a dynamic team, providing guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and automation to streamline operations will be essential. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze system logs, performance metrics, and capacity planning data to ensure optimal performance and resource utilization. Managing and resolving production incidents, staying up-to-date with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and developing and maintaining documentation on operational procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations are also key aspects of this role.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, Information Technology or related field.
3-5 years of experience in cloud operations or related roles
Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and cloud infrastructure components such as ITIL
Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
