The Project Coordinator will play a key role in the software release management process for a point of sale (POS) solution in a major retail environments. This position focuses on coordinating software releases, ensuring they are delivered on time, whilst meeting quality standards.
The role will involve working closely with development teams, business stakeholders, and I&T support teams. Familiarity with Jira is essential, as it will be the primary tool used for tracking and managing release activities.
Minimum requirements
Diploma/Degree in systems or business studies
1 to 3 years experience in project management or software release management
Familiarity with software development and release cycles
Experience using Jira for project or release management
Basic understanding of POS systems or retail operations is advantageous
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
