Collections Supervisor - Johannesburg at Fidelity Services Group

Responsibilities:

• Supervise a team of collections agents, providing guidance and support to ensure team performance goals are met
• Develop and implement effective collection strategies to reduce delinquency rates and increase recovery rates
• Monitor team performance, providing feedback and coaching to individual agents as needed
• Analyze collection data and trends to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
• Work closely with internal departments, such as customer service and legal, to resolve customer issues and disputes
• Prepare and present reports on collection performance, including trends, forecasts, and recommendations for improvement
• Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of collections experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of collection practices, regulations, and procedures
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Proven ability to motivate and lead a team to achieve results
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service
