    Commercial Deal Analyst

    Purpose

    This role will form part of the Sales Operations Function residing within the Commercial Sales Line of the Business. The primary focus and objectives are to support the Deal Desk Manger to improve customer acquisition & retention through the implementation and evolution of sustainable commercial pricing models that encourage rapid adoption and promote extension of the customer life cycle. The production & maturation of relevant & insightful customer analytics with actionable outcomes is key to maximizing value extraction.

    We Do The Right Things- Responsibilities of the Role

    • Support and contribute to the establishment of a new Deal Desk function - residing within the Sales Operations Team.
    • Core objectives of the role include improving deal win rate, reducing cycle time, maximising commercial benefit of deals for Clickatell and the Client, and working with key stakeholder to deliver differentiated, attractive, data-based proposals and pricing to our clients
    • Support and produce customer facing pricing & profitability outputs, develop competitive models aimed at acceleration of deal closure, customer incentivised upsell & cross sell activity and stickiness, while balancing business and customer priorities and objectives.
    • Develop, maintain and evolve appropriate processes and controls in support of continued customer profitability, successful customer activation and account management activities.
    • Provide relevant, meaningful and insights-driven metrics and visualisations aimed at enabling data driven decision making capabilities across the organisation.
    • Facilitate feedback into cross-functional areas of the organisation driving best practices & lessons learnt.
    • Maintain and mature complex pricing policy for unique customer channels including Social Volatiles and Partner accounts
    • Provide Sales Leadership support through ad hoc analysis, insights driven analytics and customer engagement activities.
    • Provide insights and guidance into the RFx processes aimed at increasing frequency and likelihood of deal closure and success.
    • Facilitate cross departmental engagement in support of sales activities and customer satisfaction
    • Leverage available tools and data to enable a continuous optimisation engine within the Deal Desk.
    • Research and recommend additional tools and best practices to further augment and improve the success of the Deal Desk.

    Requirements

    We Are On A Learning Journey- Requirements of the Role

    • Relevant Commercial / Financial degree
    • CIMA & or Post grad qualification advantageous

    Work Experience

    • 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role essential.

    Knowledge and Abilities

    • Advanced excel & modelling skills essential
    • Knowledge of Salesforce, PowerBi, NAV, CmNxt, MC2, Tract preferable
    • Effective communication & ability to engage at all levels within an organisation
    • In-Depth Knowledge & proven experience in maintaining profitability and pricing development
    • Pro-Active, in-depth problem-solving capabilities with the ability to think outside the box.
    • Proficient knowledge of MSOffice suite
    • Curious, courageous, and collaborative by nature – willing to challenge the status quo
    • Independent self-starter
    • Able to operate in a complex, faced paced environment with the ability to balance conflicting priorities
    • Ability to engage across the organisation in a collaborative manner
