KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

• To facilitate teaching and learning in under- and post-graduate students in promotive, preventative, curative and rehabilitative health care across the life span.
• To mentor students who access the Mobile Health Education Clinical Platform.
• To be involved in research activities related to the Mobile Health Education Clinical Platform of the Faculty of Health Sciences.
• To collaborate with the Eastern Cape Department of Health in terms of consumables and clinic sites for the Mobile Health Education Clinical Platform.
• To perform all related administrative duties and be fully computer literate.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing science. PhD in Nursing Science will be an added advantage. Post-Graduate degree /diploma in Advanced Primary Health Care.
• Registered with SANC as a Nurse in General, Community, Psychiatric and Midwifery. Post-graduate degree/diploma in Nursing Education.
• Post-graduate degree/diploma in Management will be an added advantage.

Experience

• At least three years clinical experience in Primary Health Care Nursing Practice.
• At least two - three years teaching experience in Nursing or Health Professions Education.

Driver’s License

• Code 8 Driver’s Licence and be willing to obtain a Code 10 Driver’s License within six months.
