    Compliance Training Lead

    Responsibilities

    • We have an amazing opportunity for a Compliance Training Lead to be based in Umhlanga, Durban. Do you think you have what it takes to be our newest Purple Star?

    You Bring:

    • 3 years in Compliance, Risk, or L&D within a regulated environment.
    • Experience in gaming, financial services, banking, or retail compliance preferred.
    • Strong exposure to audit environments

    A bonus to have:

    • Degree in Law, Risk, HR, or related field
    • Compliance certification 
    • Instructional design certificate

    What You’ll Do For The Brand:

    Compliance Training Strategy

    • Develop and maintain an annual compliance training plan aligned to regulatory requirements.
    • Translate legal and regulatory updates into training interventions.
    • Conduct training needs analysis linked to risk exposure.
    • Build a structured compliance learning roadmap (onboarding, refreshers, remedial).

    Regulatory & Risk Alignment

    • Ensure mandatory regulatory training (e.g., AML/FICA, POPIA, Responsible Gambling, Fraud Prevention, Code of Conduct) is current and compliant.
    • Liaise with Compliance, Legal, and Risk teams to remain updated on regulatory changes.
    • Maintain regulator-ready training records and certification documentation.

    Learning Design & Delivery

    • Oversee development of e-learning modules, workshops, toolkits, and assessments.
    • Simplify complex legal language into practical operational training.
    • Ensure blended learning approach (digital + facilitated sessions).
    • Implement micro-learning for frontline operational teams.

    Tracking, Reporting & Audit Readiness

    • Monitor and report training completion rates.
    • Ensure 100% completion for mandatory modules.
    • Maintain LMS accuracy and training compliance dashboards.
    • Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.

    Culture & Behavioural Compliance

    • Drive ethical culture initiatives.
    • Run awareness campaigns (fraud prevention, whistleblowing, anti-bribery).
    • Partner with HR on disciplinary trends linked to compliance breaches.
    • Support management in closing compliance behavior gaps.

    Continuous Improvement

    • Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments and incident trend analysis.
    • Identify compliance risk patterns and recommend interventions.
    • Conduct periodic compliance knowledge checks across regions/branches.
