Construction Project Manager at Hire Resolve

Responsibilities

• Define the project scope.
• Prepare construction estimates based on material takeoffs (MTO).
• Create and manage the project budget.
• Develop a construction project management plan.
• Negotiate contracts with general contractors and subcontractors.
• Establish a construction schedule with deliverables and milestones.
• Maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, and machinery.
• Manage resources, including materials and personnel.
• Coordinate resource logistics.
• Generate status reports for stakeholders.
• Oversee the performance of the general contractor, site manager, and construction team.
• Obtain building permits and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Uphold health and safety standards.

Requirements

Education & Training:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of construction management best practices.
• Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
• Up-to-date with construction-related rules and regulations.

Work Experience:

• 8 years of project management experience in construction, including specialties such as infrastructure, roads, bridges, transportation, water management, pipelines, and treatment plants.
• Proven experience managing budgets and schedules.
• Experience overseeing construction sites and leading teams.
• Strong risk management experience in construction projects.
