Consultant: Network Engineer at SITA SOC (Ltd)

Purpose of the job

• To plan, implement, maintain and support Network infrastructure, Network expansions and co-ordinate integrated activities across multiple functional lines including third parties to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements signed by SITA.

Key Responsibility Areas

• Plan and implement infrastructure
• Oversee the maintenance of the network infrastructure
• Perform incident management and attend to escalated requests by Network engineers to ensure that service level agreements are met Supervision of staff.

Qualifications and Experience

• Required Qualification: minimum 3-year National Diploma or Degree in IT related field (Computer Science, Information Technology/Engineering, BCom etc). Certificate in CCNA.
• Experience: 5 – 6 years practical experience in Wide Area Network (WAN), Network topology, Network Design, Application Layer and routing protocols.
