Content Developer Education Or Human Resources Management (Part Time)
To design, develop, and align skills programme content in accordance with the Quality Council for Trades and Occupations (QCTO) standards and requirements.
This includes developing curriculum documents, learning materials, assessments, and related resources to support the implementation of occupational qualifications and part qualifications.
The role ensures that content is outcomes-based, industry-relevant, and compliant with South Africa’s occupational training framework.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop skills programme curricula in alignment with QCTO and SAQA guidelines.
Design and produce learner guides, facilitator guides, workbooks, and multimedia content tailored to the programme outcomes.
Ensure materials are engaging, accessible, and suitable for different learning contexts (classroom, workplace-based, online, etc.).
Create formative and summative assessments that align with occupational tasks and learning outcomes.
Develop assessment tools including rubrics, checklists, observation sheets, and model answers.
Minimum Requirements:
A qualification in Curriculum Development specializing in Education or Human Resource Management.
Proven experience in developing learning material.
Strong editing, formatting, and writing skills.
Preferably, experience in curriculum development, as well as the design of formative and summative assessments.
