    Continuous Improvement Specialist - Feitoria

    Job Description    

    • The CI Specialist is responsible to identify and improve the outcomes of manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiencies, reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction. They will manage, coordinate and control of manufacturing process reporting data via SHOPWARE, Scada and SAP and ensure that all goods & services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quality. As the CI Specialist, you will assist the transformation into a World Class Manufacturing Operation following TPM and Lean methodologies.

    Minimum Requirements    
    EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

    •     Bachelor's Degree in Science, Operations or Industrial Engineering 
    •     Advanced Technical Diploma 
    •     Extensive experience using MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint), ERP and other relevant computer software and systems effectively 
    •     Operational systems knowledge of SHOPWARE, Scada, Visio, AutoCAD and SAP 

    EXPERIENCE 

    •  3 + years of experience applying Lean and 5S techniques in a Lean manufacturing environment 
    •  3+ years shift production experience in a food, chemical, beverage and BRC, ISO 9001 manufacturing experience 
    •  3+ years of experience in cross-functional project or program management 
    •  2+ World Class Manufacturing exposure to both processes and equipment 

    Duties and Responsibilities    
    KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS 

    •     Be the leader in implementing and driving SHOPWARE and SCADA as the manufacturing tool throughout the operational business. 
    •     Meet OTIF%, ATP%, Downtime% and MPS% KPI’s 
    •     Ensure full conformances to quality standards and specifications. 
    •     Create, implement, and continuously improve department processes and standards to ensure alignment, compliance, and to meet customer requirements. 
    •     Maintain and implement the daily, weekly and monthly Shopware reporting processes. 
    •     Implement, manage and drive efficiencies in the company.
    •      Set, standardize and monitor key processes to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. 
    •     Implements and drive plans to correct and address any issues and or non-conformances identified identifying root cause analysis and oversees specific corrective action plans. 
    •     Ensure that equipment is timeously maintained, and efficiencies are achieved above 80% OEE.
    •     Identify and facilitate process improvement projects, training/ workshops to drive cultural change.
    •     Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics, troubleshoot manufacturing/ business and assembly issues, material flow, project plans, production capacity, facility design and create process documentation.
    •     Carrying out advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping, develop budgets and cost analysis to determine project feasibility.
    •     Design Install and debug tooling and capital equipment as it relates to process improvement.
    •     Drive value stream mapping to define “As-Is Analysis” and the transition to Future State.
    •     Develop and conduct compliance audits, program evaluations and reviews to drive results with the fortitude to ensure change is permanent and in line with World Class.
