    Contract Document Compiler

    We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentation Compiler to produce high-quality Operator, Maintenance, Technical Training, and Parts Manuals for our advanced underground mining equipment. This role ensures that our customers, technicians, and operators have the resources they need to operate and maintain Fermel’s products safely and effectively.

    • Compile, structure, and edit operator manuals, maintenance guides, technical training materials, and parts manuals.
    • Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and product specialists to gather accurate technical information.
    • Develop clear, concise, and user-friendly content tailored to diverse audiences, including operators, technicians, and trainers.
    • Integrate diagrams, schematics, and parts breakdowns to enhance the usability of manuals.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with industry standardsregulatory requirements, and company guidelines.
    • Maintain a comprehensive repository of updated templates and documentation to ensure consistency.
    • Conduct regular updates and revisions to reflect product upgrades, changes, or new releases.
    • Support training teams by providing accurate and complete technical content for workshops and client presentations.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Proven experience in developing technical documentation, preferably in the mining, heavy machinery, or manufacturing sectors.
    • Strong knowledge of documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, and illustration software.
    • Excellent attention to detail and a high level of organizational skills.
    • Ability to interpret complex technical data, including engineering drawings, schematics, and parts breakdowns, and translate it into user-friendly content.
    • Familiarity with underground mining equipment, systems, or processes is a significant advantage.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A degree or diploma in Technical Writing, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
