Contracts Administrator - FTC at The South African Breweries (SAB)

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of construction and engineering contracts throughout project execution
• Support the monitoring of contractual obligations, notice requirements, and contract compliance
• Prepare and maintain contract correspondence, records, and filing systems
• Assist with the tracking and administration of variations and change orders
• Support the preparation of Extension of Time (EOT) submissions and contractual notifications
• Assist with the compilation and administration of contractor claims and supporting documentation
• Maintain variation, claims, and risk registers
• Support project teams with contract management activities and document control requirements
• Assist with commercial reporting and contract-related data analysis
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and document management for contractual matters

Minimum Requirnments:

• Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Commercial Management, Law, or a related discipline
• 0 to 3 years' experience in a contract administration, commercial, project controls, quantity surveying, or related role
• Exposure to construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining, energy, or capital projects environments will be advantageous
• Basic knowledge of contract administration, variations, claims, and change management principles
• Exposure to standard forms of contract such as FIDIC, JBCC, or GCC would be advantageous
