Zutari’s East London office is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer or Professional Engineering Tech with experience mainly in Contracts Administration to join the team working on a range of Civil Infrastructure projects specifically within municipal and water space. This is a great opportunity for a respected engineer to join a global consultancy delivering world class projects to clients on a global basis.
Responsibilities:
Contract administration of construction contracts including Civil Engineering projects (municipal, and water), electrical and mechanical engineering projects, design and build as well as EPC/EPCM
Assist in the development of Aurecon standardized documentation, and contract strategies for projects.
Monitoring and compliance of procurement procedures and requirements
Manage contractor's claims and disputes
Manage all aspects of variations concerning the various projects worked on.
Manage all other commercial and contractual processes
Ensure compliance with OH&S and environmental requirements
Deliver excellent client service
Coaching and mentoring junior technical staff
Apply Site Management System based on ISO 9001 QMS
Project Management principle for delivery of Infrastructure Project
Requirements:
BEng/BSc/ B-Tech in Civil Engineering
Pr.Eng or Pr Tech Eng Registration with ECSA (i.e. Candidates eligible for Professional Registration maybe considered)
Pr CPM Registration with SACPCPM will be an advantage
Minimum 8 - 15 years’ experience as an Contracts Engineer / Employers Agent within Contracts Administration with thorough working knowledge of conditions of contract (FIDIC, NEC, GCC and JBCC)
