The control engineers are in support of both the Lead and Senior Engineers to ensure that process control projects are executed on-time and meet the required performance criteria. The group consists of multi-disciplined engineers that span across the total control solution including both regulatory and advance control. The control engineers collaborate closely with the operations and other function departments on the implementation and maintenance of the control solutions. The control engineer’s role includes executing projects as directed and seeking for continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be joining the Advance Process Control (APC) group. Anglo American Platinum has an extensive APC solution with many exciting opportunities to advance and innovate within the dynamic 4IR world.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a BSc Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, Electrical or Mechanical) , a 3 years Post Qualification experience with experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of control solutions. A Valid code EB license and own vehicle as will there will be traveling to other operations.
