    Customer Engagement Administrator

    Job Description
    As part of this role, you will investigate queries reported by internal customers and former employees, validate engagement packs and engage new employees on the SAP system. Your daily activities will include the escalation of unresolved queries to the processing teams for remedial action and accurately verify documents in terms of the HR policies, procedures and relevant conditions of employment.

    You will act as a distribution point for Global Shared Services and will be required to print pay slips IRP5’s and Retirement Fund statements for distribution to the relevant employees. This role is in the Human Resources department at a Band 8 level reporting to the Customer Engagement Supervisor.

    Qualifications
    You will need the following:

    • Matric / Grade 12
    • Payroll qualification (Recognition of Prior Learning will be acknowledged)

    Experience:

    • Relevant Payroll experience
    • Solid experience on SAP payroll capturing system knowledge
    • Experience in scanning of documents to Global Work Bench (GWB) filing system

    HRD Officer Protection Services

    Job Description

    As a Human Resources Development Officer in Protection Services, you will be responsible to provide advice and support to the Protection Services management on all Human Resources Department related matters. You will need to identify learning and development needs and determine the most effective way of addressing these, also ensuring effective alignment and implementation of programmers and initiatives.

    As part of this role, you will also ensure alignment of Protection Service personnel development with the standards, regulations and stipulations of SASSETA, PSIRA, the PFTC and the CFR in terms of Quality Assurance and accreditation by Initiating, maintaining and monitoring compliance to Service Level Agreements with external service providers. This role is in the Human Resources Development department at a C5/D1 level reporting to the Protection Service HRD Coordinator.

    Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • Completed 2nd year studies in Security management or OETDP Certificate NQF 5
    • Registered with PSIRA Grade A
    • PFTC registered Tactical Firearm Instructor - minimum grading of Advanced level in all disciplines.
    • ETDP Accredited Assessor and ETDP Accredited Moderator
    • DH4 or unit standard equivalent service dog qualification.

    Control Engineer

    Job Description

    • The control engineers are in support of both the Lead and Senior Engineers to ensure that process control projects are executed on-time and meet the required performance criteria. The group consists of multi-disciplined engineers that span across the total control solution including both regulatory and advance control. The control engineers collaborate closely with the operations and other function departments on the implementation and maintenance of the control solutions. The control engineer’s role includes executing projects as directed and seeking for continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will be joining the Advance Process Control (APC) group.     Qualifications

    • We are looking for someone with a BSc Engineering (Chemical, Metallurgical, Electrical or Mechanical) , a 3 years Post Qualification experience with experience in the design, implementation and maintenance of control solutions. A Valid code EB license and own vehicle as will there will be traveling to other operations.

    Senior Foreman Mechanical (Surface)

    Job Description

    As a Senior Mechanical Foreman, you will ensure compliance to operating procedures, work instructions, and to group technical standards. You will coordinate special projects and shutdowns and prioritize duties towards maintenance of equipment and services.
    Your daily duties will include planning and coordinating daily, weekly, and monthly requirements and priorities with the operational team related to all planned and related work and shutdowns. As part of your role, you will liaise and communicate effectively with other Supervisors and departments to ensure coordination and collaboration.

    You will monitor and inspect plant equipment, including condition monitoring which will be part of your responsibilities while you control SHEQ and report regularly on costs, targets, actuals, and objectives.

    Further to the above, you will be overseeing the quality of workmanship, conducting regular inspections and planned task observations while also coaching and mentoring learners and Artisans and ensure allocation of labour resources and equipment to scheduled activities to maintain high levels of labour, equipment and operational performance standards.

    As part of this role, you will oversee the quality of workmanship and conduct regular inspections around the section and the operation while making sure that the process remains operational. This role is in the Engineering department at a D1 level reporting to the Section Engineer.

    Qualifications

    • Engineering Foreman Certificate
    • Boiler making or Fitting Trade Certificate
    • Certified Competent 2.9.2 – (advantageous)

    Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years as Mechanical Foreman/ Acting Foreman OR 3 years’ experience as a Chargehand /Lead-Hand
    • Working on standby and shift patterns
    • Experienced as Mechanical Foreman/Chargehand for Acid Plant (advantageous)

    Additional Requirements:

    • Computer literacy
    • Good analytical and decisions making skills
    • Valid driver’s license- Code 08
    • SAP knowledge (advantageous)
