What Will You Do as a Credit Controller?

Key Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:

• As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for liaising with customers regarding overdue invoices
• End-to-end credit control
• Process improvement
• Follow up on overdue invoices
• Regular (Daily / Weekly) aged debt reporting
• Escalate payment issues
• Negotiate payment plans and settlements when required
• Sending payment reminders
• Managing a ledger of 200+ accounts
• Maintaining accurate records of correspondence with customers
• Weekly/monthly cash collection forecasting
• Liaise with various internal departments in order to resolve customer queries
• Chair weekly Debtors meeting

Who Do You Need?

• The ideal candidate will have 3+ years credit control experience ideally within a large corporate environment.
• You will be a proactive self-starter able to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Our credit controllers should be adept at manipulating and understanding data
• A tenacious individual, able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• An excellent written and verbal communicator
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong planning, organisation and administration skills with use of internal systems and Excel
• Strong organizational, time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to create strong relationships
• Able to manage conflict in a balanced manner
