We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Creditors Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in finance, be a fast learner, have contactable references, and possess proven experience and qualifications in creditors/finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile accounts payable transactions in a timely and accurate manner
Maintain vendor relationships and address any inquiries or discrepancies
Prepare and review supplier statements and reconcile to the general ledger
Verify and process expense reports
Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience working in a creditors or finance role
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
