Creditors Supervisor - Corporate Services at Intercare Group South Africa

CRITICAL OUTPUTS

• Lead and manage the creditors team to deliver high quality work, ensuring compliance with company policies and facilitating coaching, training and development.
• Reconcile all planned payments with the current day's bank statement.
• Ensure all payments are authorized and processed with accurate bank details.
• Manage supplier relationships, including handling invoices, payment schedules, and statements.
• Ensure the accurate and timely capturing of invoices and payments, with correct allocations in the general and supplier ledgers.
• Monitor compliance with sign-off limits before payments are submitted.
• Review and reconcile month-end supplier statements, ensuring detailed explanations for any discrepancies. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of five years of experience in a creditors function, with proven experience in a supervisory role.
• Strong reconciliation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Knowledge of financial systems and creditors management best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software, with experience in Accpac being an advantage.
