• Create engaged and happy employees that love coming to work.The Culture & Events Coordinator is responsible for end-to-end execution of recognition events within the business. They strategically ensure that the EX-pillar “Celebrate the Wins and Moments That Matter” are culturally experienced by all staff.

Key roles and responsibilities

Event Organization and Planning

• Master precision in organizing events
  Planning with timelines, budgets, themes, and measurables

Budget Management

• Careful budgeting for each event
  Utilizing vendor networks and cost-saving strategies

Execution Excellence

• Ensuring smooth execution of events
  Adapting to unexpected situations without attendees noticing

Collaboration with Marketing

• Working collaboratively with the Marketing team
  Bringing the Ignition brand to life creatively

Awards Management

• Delivering Star of the Month Awards
  Managing Quarterly Leadership Awards

Strategic Measurement of Event Success

• Understanding strategic measurement of event success
  Impact of events on overall business

Cultural Replication

• Replicating Ignition's culture from Durban to Cape Town
  Ensuring a consistent organizational culture

Voice of the Employee

• Representing the Voice of the Employee in Cape Town
  Addressing employee pain points and making bold changes

Senior Management Birthday Gifts

• Delivering and managing birthday gifts for Senior Management
  Coordinating gifts in both Cape Town and Johannesburg

Cross-Business Unit Collaboration

• Creating and executing events across Business Units
  Driving Collaboration and teamwork.

Requirements:
Education, Experience & Attributes:

Knowledge, skills and attributes:

• Has own vehicle and valid drivers’ license.

Education and training:

• Matric

Experience:

• At least 3 years of event management.
  Branding / Marketing experience is a bonus.
