Minimum Requirements    

• Minimum of a Grade 12 certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Previous retail experience, preferably in a customer-facing role.
• Basic knowledge of stock management and inventory control processes.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Good numerical skills to assist with stock counts and handling cash transactions.
• Attention to detail to ensure product displays are maintained and store standards are met.
• Problem-solving skills to address customer inquiries and operational challenges.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Assist with daily store operations to ensure a smooth and efficient shopping experience.
• Support stock management activities including receiving, unpacking, and organizing inventory.
• Maintain attractive and orderly product displays aligned with company standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet store sales targets and operational goals.
• Conduct regular stock counts and support inventory control procedures.
• Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe workplace.
