    Customer Service Co-ordinator

    Job Purpose

    Responsible for processing customer orders and executing deliveries as per the customer’s request. Ensuring that continuous service is delivered by achieving the sales forecast, maintaining correct stock levels and processing complaints.

    Education

    Minimum NQF level 6 qualification in a relevant discipline

    Job Experience

    • A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in a customer services role within a manufacturing environment, handling both pre-sale and after-sales interactions with customers.

    • Hands-on experience in logistics (road transport, warehouse and shipping processes) and/or sales is an advantage.

    • Experience with SAP is an advantage (Sales and Distribution module).

    Functional Outputs

    • Responsible for managing the customers’ Order book :

      • Processing orders within lead time to achieve the Sales volume

      • Pricing verification

      • Liaising with Finance and Sales on credit limit variances

      • Invoicing to be aligned with the Revenue Recognition policy

    • Handling customer queries and complaints effectively, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and following up to ensure resolution

    • Effective allocation of orders to available inventory to achieve working capital targets

    • Planning and following up on deliveries and shipping plans

    • Communicating priorities, urgencies, risks and coordinating with relevant internal departments

    • Provides business continuity back up within the broader customer services team

    • Has attention to detail, delivers quality work within deadlines, proactive approach.

    • Organisational and analytical skills.

    • Alignment with the departmental culture and values

    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and take personal initiative to achieve business goals

    General

    • Must be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office.

    • SAP knowledge is an advantage (Sales and Distribution module)

    • Must have good interpersonal skills

    • Valid Driver’s Licence
