Relevant professional Technology-related qualification such as National Diploma/ B Tech/ First Degree in the field of ICT, cybersecurity, digital forensics, and/or data Analytics
More than 3 years’ relevant experience in the field of investigation, cybersecurity, digital forensics, data analytics, and /or technical troubleshooting
Advanced Computer Literacy Office Applications and ICT, Cybersecurity, Digital Forensics, and /or Data analytics with strong troubleshooting skills
Strong interviewing skills both orally and written
Experience in a policing or law Enforcement environment and appointment as a peace officer will be advantageous
Driver licence (Code B or EB)

Key Performance Areas
Identifies and preserves all relevant digital information from external devices and systems, and from City systems, EPIC platforms, endpoint devices and storage media, always maintaining integrity and auditability.
Conduct analytical examinations of digital information to surface facts, timelines and patterns that support technology incident management, operational decision-making and, where required, formal investigations.
Provides technical expertise across S&S and EPIC operations, Technology & Innovation, cybersecurity and business units to enable effective incident response, technology adoption and informed decision-making.
Securely accesses City computers, mobile devices, EPIC- connected hardware and digital storage, as well as where appropriate and authorised, external computers, devices hardware and storage to acquire required information for analysis, recovery and operational continuity.
Manages training, skills development and knowledge-transfer activities to strengthen EPIC’s analytical, technology and investigative support cap
