Data Analyst: Supply Chain Fixed Term Contract at AECI Limited

Job Description    

•  Identify common data objects between multiple legacy systems for merging of databases into a single target system
•  Document data to be migrated and data to be left
•  Assist Data Stewards in the definition of legacy system data for migration.
•  Maintain data dictionary for target system
•  Execute Data Migration Model Adjustment and , maintain mapping between legacy and target databases
•  Extend master data object according to target system requirements
•  Conduct data quality assessments & maintain data quality dashboards
•  Report and communicate data exceptions
•  Prepare data load data sets based on target templates
•  Scope internal and mock migration testing
•  Set up test criteria for data migrations and execute testing

Qualifications & Experience    

•  Matric/Grade 12
•  Bachelor’s Degree (information systems/statistics/data or computer science/engineering) or equivalent
•  SAP Database structure experience would be advantageous
