Job Summary

• A company in the FMCG sector is seeking a detail-oriented Data Clerk to join their team. The role is based in Gauteng and requires working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Capture and update data accurately into company databases and systems
• Maintain and organize digital and physical records
• Verify and correct data discrepancies
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documentation
• Assist with stock and inventory data capturing
• Generate reports and spreadsheets when required
• Maintain confidentiality of company information
• Support the administrative and operations teams with data-related tasks
• Ensure all documentation is properly filed and easily accessible

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric
• 2–3 years’ experience in a data capturing or administrative role
• Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience working with ERP or inventory systems is advantageous
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
