In this role you’ll help fulfil and support our legal and regulatory obligations and drive best practice from a data management and privacy perspective across the business. Your day-to-day will be split between running with operational data compliance tasks, training the business, and providing guidance when approached. You will also help execute the “Data Compliance Strategy”, forming part of various approval committees and processes to review and enforce data compliance standards while assisting the wider Compliance Team as required.

Key Requirements

• Relevant Degree / Diploma in Data Management or equivalent e.g. BSc Information Systems, Certified Data Manager, etc.
• Compliance Certifications would be beneficial e.g. CDMP, CIPM, ISO27001, etc.

1 - 3 Years relevant experience in one or more of the following fields:

• Data Management
• Data Privacy
• Data Quality
• Data Governance
• Vested interest and passionate about data compliance (both data privacy and data governance)
• Team Player
• Embraces company principles and values

Key Responsibilities 

• Maintaining, improving, and fulfilling our requirements as defined in our Data Privacy Program
• Assisting to refine and rollout company-wide training
• Review and maintain data related policies
• Risk Management
• Internal Auditing
• Data Incident Management
• Stakeholder Engagement and Compliance Reporting
• Help implement key data compliance-related projects & programs
• Keeping abreast with global legislation & best practices from a data management & privacy standpoint and incorporate into Data Strategy
• Establish and enforce Data Governance standards across the business
