Data Manager/Steward at Robert Walters

• My client is seeking Knowledge Manager / Data Steward to join their growing Innovation team. This role is central to collecting, organising, and sharing knowledge and insights across their investment deal teams and platforms. They will ensure critical deal information is accessible and actionable also supporting our data science and AI initiatives. Initially focused on private equity, the role will expand to other investment strategies over time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining tech-enabled knowledge sharing processes to ensure deal related data is systematically collected, accurately tagged, and organized
• Working closely with deal teams to document key learnings from deals.
• Ensuring data quality, integrity and compliance across knowledge-sharing platforms.
• Supporting the integration of knowledge into data analytics, AI, and other strategic initiatives.
• Championing best practices for data stewardship and knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of collaboration. Including developing guides, toolkits, and case studies to showcase best practices and amplify the impact of data and knowledge sharing
• Serve as a key point of contact for the investment teams, directing them to relevant documents and knowledge resources to support their work effectively

Key Relationships

• Internal: Insight Director, deal teams (across private equity and other alternative investment platforms), Data Science & AI team, Data Platform team, Technology team.
• External: Consultants, external data providers, and other knowledge-sharing partners as needed.

• CVC seeks to hire individuals who are highly motivated, proactive, intelligent, resourceful and have demonstrated excellence in prior endeavours. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in knowledge systems, as well as the ability to drive and inspire data stewardship and knowledge sharing

Experience:

• 2-4 years in knowledge management, data stewardship, or a related role within financial services, consulting, or professional services.
• Experience working with private equity or investment platforms preferred.
• Strong background in organizing, structuring, and managing large datasets and insights.
• Familiarity with knowledge management tools, CRM platforms, and data analytics systems.
