Data Quality Analyst at Engen

Purpose of the Job

To manage, analyse and report on accounting data in financial control function with the objective of ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all accounting records, analyse trends and ensuring adherance to all accounting policies in order to safeguard assets and minimise risks with minimal audit findings.

What You'll have done before:

Baseline:

• At least 5 years SAP related experience directly linked to Master Data Management, SAP reports and queries.
• 5 years’ experience with analysing complex data for quality and integrity.
• Deep knowledge of master data governance and reporting knowledge.
• IT Systems degree preferred or equivalent of 10 Years work experience.
• Experience working with SAP Information Steward and/or SAP Data Services.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Deep integration knowledge between modules and other systems.
• Experience working with Senior Management and stakeholders at various levels.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently.

Advantageous:

• Post-graduate qualification in Information Technology Degree
• Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity.
• Experience with Data Modelling and business process mapping.

• Proactively managing data quality scorecards and reporting expectations.
• Building relationships with internal customers to enable ownership & self-help mindset.
• Promoting and operationalizing data standards and processes.
• Measuring data quality and ensuring improvement in data quality & completeness.
• Creating more user reports & dashboards for decision making.
• You’ll be collaborating with implementation teams for systems & integration solutions.
• Soliciting data quality requirements from business stakeholders for data quality management.
• Providing stakeholder training on data quality and information steward.
