  This geographically dispersed team are the product owners of Splunk and Elastic. Their core function is to provide a stable, reliable, precise, technologically proven environment and legendary service. This includes optimisation of data, data pipelines, architecture, optimising data flow and collection for cross-functional teams. The team loves working with other teams and jump at the opportunity to investigate/assist with any information or requests related to the products they support. Sounds like the place for you?   Responsibilities:

   

  Qualifications & experience:

  • To create an environment that is conducive to a cooperative relationship between DSS – Non-SQL and our stakeholders/clients.

  • To define the details of technology services delivered and the level of service that can be expected by clients.

  • Meeting response and resolution times associated with the priority assigned to incidents/work orders.

  • Establishing performance metrics standards for tracking, managing, measuring and reporting via Pager Duty or BI reports.

  • Implement defined processes to meet service level commitments.

  • Our ultimate responsibility is to Derivco, we need to ensure that we focus on the following components:

  • Stability – ensure uptime of the environment,

  • Performance – ensure that our environment is performing optimally,

  • Scalability – ensure we can grow and sufficiently use resources,

  • Integrity – ensure the accuracy and consistency of data over its entire life cycle. 

  • Elk/Elastic: 1+ years

  • Splunk Admin: 1+ years (would be beneficial)

  • Linux – RHEL: 2+ years

  • Security: 1+ years (background will be beneficial)

  • Ansible: 6+ months

  • Splunk apps: ITSI, SIEM, DSP (would be beneficial)

  • Logstash: 1+ years

  • Azure (cloud): 1+ years of Microsoft Certified qualification.

  • Azure DevOps and or Gibhub and or CI/DC pipelines: 1+ year

  • Linux – RHEL experience/exposed to.

  • Splunk/Elastic – knowledge of the Technology set.

  • Azure – experience/exposure.

  • Data ingestion Pipelines

  • Developing and deploying Software tools.

  • Devops tools experience

  • Scripting experience

  • Experience on NoSql platforms

  • Delivering data pipelines
