A recognised NQF Level 7 qualification in education, which includes a professional teacher education qualification.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a middle management position working with schools. A valid registration with SACE as a professional educator.
Must be Computer Literate. Must have a valid driver's license.
Duties
Coordinate institutional development by developing and monitoring policies on circuit management and functioning.
Support the development of guideline documents and tools to support schools and circuits to implement the functions as required by the relevant policies.
Assist with the capacitation Circuit Managers and Districts Directors on the development of Circuit Improvement Plans (CIPs) and District Improvement Plans (DIPs).
Monitor the implementation and review progress of the implementation of the CIPs and DIPs through accountability sessions and sample monitoring of Districts.
Ensure the implementation of Circular D3 of 2023 for the identification, management and support of underperforming schools.
Capacitate districts to meet the requirements determined by the framework on the Fundamentals of Districts. Provide oversight delivery and support for the legislative mandates of parliament and the national government.
