Debt Recovery Specialist at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Achieve debt collection targets through proactive recovery strategies.
• Draft legal documents related to debt recovery.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely updates on debt collection status.
• Prepare and submit accurate internal and external reports.
• Utilize M-Files for tracking, documentation, and reporting.
• Assess debt collection cases, identify risks, and communicate with clients regarding documentation requirements.
• Contact debtors, establish repayment agreements, and monitor adherence to payment schedules.
• Manage industry stop listings and legal handovers when necessary.
• Collaborate with attorneys, credit insurers, and other stakeholders for legal collections.
• Ensure compliance with insurance policies and deadlines related to debt collection.

Requirements:

• NQF qualification, diploma, or degree is advantageous.
• 1-3 years of experience in debt collection or credit control.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and conflict-handling abilities.
• High attention to detail and resilience in a demanding role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and M-Files.
