Debtors and Creditors Clerk at Kempston Recruitment

• An exciting opportunity awaits in Cape Town for a detail-driven finance professional looking to grow within a fast-paced TES environment.

Minimum Skills and Requirements: 

• Completed Matric with Mathematics
• 2+ years’ experience in the role of debtors and creditors; full function 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong administration skills
• Valid drivers' license and own vehicle would be advantageous 
• A methodical approach, with high level attention to detail

Duties and Responsibilities: 
The successful candidate would be required, but not limited to: 

• Handling customer/ client queries 
• Reconciling accounts
• Following up on payments and processing deposits
• Full debtors and creditors function for the branch; from allocating PO numbers through to invoicing of clients 
• Ensuring all creditor invoices are correct and signed off by management prior to issuing to the internal accounts department
• Balancing branch petty cash and ensuring reconciliations are sent through to the accounts department
• Attending to ad hoc duties as required
