Responsibilities

Job Overview:

• Responsible for the full deliveries to be on time.
• Monitoring of stock
• Ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported timeously
• POD control
• Safe working practices
• Housekeeping
• Following Standard Operating Procedures
• Assist the driver in the loading and offloading of the product
• Assist with the moving of vehicles in the safest possible manner for delivery to customers
• Loading and off loading at customers
• Securing loads and ensuring that the product is always properly secured in transit
• Assist the driver and report any damage to any property
• Assist where possible with control of paperwork

Qualifications

• Matric is essential
• Code 10 or higher valid driver’s license with PDP will be an advantage
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities - effective in handling and interacting with customers
• Familiarity with local streets, neighborhoods and routes
• Highly responsible & reliable
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
• The ability to work flexible hours
