Delivery Lead: Technology (Salesforce) at Capitec Bank

Purpose Statement

• Capitec Bank, a leader in South African banking, seeks Salesforce enthusiasts for a key role. As a Delivery Lead, you will guide IT teams through the full product lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery and ongoing support. You will drive efficiency, innovation, and people development in our Business Bank Operations. In this role, you will define and enforce SDLC standards, develop robust solutions for core business functions, and lead the technical trajectory of our Salesforce Delivery across multiple feature teams.

Experience
Minimum:

• At least 5 years' experience in leading technical teams, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Ability to create data models that align with business requirements and ensure data quality, consistency, and security.
• Experience in developing custom APIs (REST, SOAP, or GraphQL) for data exchange and ensuring their performance and security.
• Understanding of DevOps processes and software development lifecycle (SDLC) standards.
• Experience designing and developing integration solutions using technologies like MuleSoft, Informatica, or custom-built APIs.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce development tools.

Qualifications (Minimum)

• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational

Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology - Computer Science or Information Technology - Programming

Knowledge
Minimum:

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and its application in business processes.
• Experience in leading technical design sessions and developing solution documentation aligned with business objectives.
• Knowledge of integrating Salesforce with other technologies and systems both internally and externally.
• Capability to perform code reviews and ensure consistency with overall application architecture.
• Proficiency in documenting functional and technical specifications, as well as data integration and migration processes.
• Experience in mapping business requirements to Salesforce capabilities and determining when custom solutions are necessary.
• Ability to design and support the development of integration solutions using custom-built APIs and middleware.
