Delivery Trainer - Operations at Signant Health

Role Purpose:

The Trainer delivers a range of engaging learning content for the Global Project Management specific function, utilizing adult learning principles as well as managing learning logistics related to function specific learning. The role is global in scope but is focused on specific sub-functions on the organization.

Key Accountabilities

• Ability to deliver function specific new hire and refresher content to groups and individuals covering a range of product, technical, operational, and soft skills areas within the Global Project Management function
• Content identified to support Bootcamps and large function specific learning programs.
• Work with stakeholders to determine the best method of delivery to meet learning outcomes.
• Organizes and partners to create function/role specific learning materials; learner/facilitator manuals and course materials such as handouts, job aids and online materials.
• Executes training sessions, webinars, workshops etc. in groups or individually.
• Troubleshoots technical issues or seeks technical support in a timely manner to facilitate learning.
• Manages all learning logistics/resources for program i.e.: scheduling classes, scheduling learners, high proficiency with using online meeting/learning tools, break-out rooms (in-classroom or virtual), distribution of materials, and supplies.
• Manages a professionally structured class environment according to established policies and procedures i.e.: classroom management, attendance/tardiness issues, engagement of learners in an online environment.
• Establishes and ensures the auditing, reporting, maintenance and tracking of all training records.
• Determines overall effectiveness of programs and makes improvements based on results.

Knowledge Skills and Attributes

• Function/role-specific experience with demonstrated high proficiency and appraisal rating of Core Contributor or higher
• Ability to manage relationships while learning new skills and meeting performance expectations across multiple organizations.
• Ability to demonstrate friendly, professional behavior
• Demonstrates teamwork, problem solving, engagement, and adaptability to change.
• Experience being in a training role
• Facilitation and learning logistics experience.
• Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service/interpersonal skills and comfortable speaking to crowds.
• Ability to work independently and manage one’s time with some direction.
• Intermediate knowledge of online learning processes and principles, facilitation skills, and classroom management.
• Intermediate knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams. Miro, Confluence and Jira experience desired.
